About Jordan G. English

Attorney Jordan G. English assists Michigan entrepreneurs and businesses with all aspects of starting and operating a business entity, including drafting necessary legal documentation for business formation and procedure and working closely with clients to provide solutions to their legal issues and answers to their legal questions.

Jordan also assists individuals and families with preparing comprehensive estate plans to help protect their personal assets and avoid probate. Additionally, he works with individuals, families, and businesses to assist them with navigating complex insurance issues, purchasing and disposing of real estate property, resolving contract disputes, and handling civil litigation matters.

If legal disputes do arise, Jordan is experienced in negotiating, litigating, and solving problems for clients in ways that are both effective and efficient. Jordan has previous experience in the defense of insurance carriers on issues of coverage, catastrophic personal protection insurance claims, personal injury liability, contract disputes, and premises liability claims. Jordan also has experience in the areas of commercial and consumer litigation and appellate law.
Jordan grew up in Warren, Pennsylvania and received his Bachelor’s degree in Communications, with minors in Political Science and Legal Studies, from University of Pittsburgh, magna cum laude, in 2013. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from Michigan State University College of Law, magna cum laude, in 2016. Jordan passed the July 2016 Michigan Bar Exam and was thereafter admitted to practice law in Michigan.

Prior to joining Williams, Knack, & Burrows, P.C., Jordan worked for the Michigan Court of Appeals, which provided him with invaluable insight to the Michigan judicial system and the Michigan state appeal process. He also has prior litigation experience working for insurance defense and commercial litigation firms, as well as prior experience in the areas of business consulting, litigation prevention, and risk management. Jordan’s previous legal experience gives him valuable perspective when advising and assertively advocating for his clients.

Jordan is involved in the Livingston County Community and is an active member of the Fenton Network Connections BNI Chapter.

Jordan’s primary goal in running his practice is to provide his clients with effective solutions to their legal issues by carefully analyzing the details for each legal matter and meticulously preparing the respective legal documentation, while also treating each client with respect and compassion.
